Three games are to be replayed, the results of two others reversed:
Following a detailed examination of player eligibility in the Embee Trophy matches played on Sunday 6 May and Monday 7 May and applying the principles outlined in the Player Eligibility posting on 30 April on this website (allowing clubs to count back into last season) it is apparent that a number of clubs have still breached Rule 3 (e).
The outcome is as follows:
Rainhill v Birkenhead St Mary’s – game to be replayed
Lytham v Leigh – game to be replayed
Bootle v Wigan – game to be replayed
Prestatyn v Colwyn Bay – game awarded to Colwyn Bay
Orrell v Alder – game awarded to Orrell
As indicated in the original posting if clubs are in any doubt as to the eligibility of players for the Embee Trophy they should contact Mike Leddy (0151 284 7770) or Rob Durand (07803722171) before the match takes place.
