High number of new and transfer registrations in April as deadline passes

PLAYER REGISTRATION AND ELIGIBILITY FOR SATURDAY 19 APRIL

In accordance with paragraph 4.1.1 of the Rules and Regulations Handbook only those players fully registered in accordance with L&DCC regulations are eligible to play this Saturday. Specifically they must have been entered on Play-Cricket at least 72 hours before the first match, i.e. by 1pm on Wednesday 16 April.

Please note that 41 new or transferred registrations have been entered in the last 4 days and these are being dealt with as quickly as possible together with a similar number of registrations posted earlier in April. This is a significantly higher number than is usual. All will be processed (and approved if all appropriate information, e.g. release letters etc. are available) by the end of Friday 18 April.

Any players with registrations posted after 1pm on Wednesday 16 April are not eligible to play this Saturday. See below (added on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th)

Further Note : Due to a flurry of activity on Wednesday 16 and congestion on our play-cricket registration section, all nominations entered on the site upto midnight on 16 April will be processed in time for this Saturday. Nominations will be approved provided that all associated paperwork, release letters etc, is in order.

Please also note that registrations for Category 3 ( not exempt) players (Overseas players) will be dealt with after this weekend.

If you have any queries relating to a registration submitted before the deadline please contact Neil Girvin Registration Secretary 07548772759 or Chris Weston League Secretary 07977201736
