The Med Imaging Liverpool Competition would like to congratulate Ormskirk's Gavin Griffiths on making his first team Lancashire debut in the Royal London One-Day Cup match against Northamptonshire on Thursday.

Griffiths became the latest in a distinguished line of Competition cricketers to wear the Red Rose, taking 0 for 41 off 8 overs and taking catches to dismiss Kyle Coetzer and Ben Duckett as Paul Horton's side lost by 19 runs in a match which had to be decided using the Duckworth-Lewis Method.

The Competition hopes that Griffiths will enjoy a long and successful career with Lancashire
