LIVE SCORING VIA TOTAL CRICKET SCORER 2015

Important notice relating to First XI match scorers / captains / match managers.

Live Scoring - Total Cricket Scorer

It is mandatory under ECB premier league criteria for all premier division clubs to use Live Scoring via the TCS system, - we lose significant funding if they do not.

In the past, the League has purchased and renewed the annual Licences for the Live Scoring element of the Total Cricket Scoring software package centrally.

There have been difficulties in allocating the renewed Licences to the Premier Division clubs for a number of reasons

For the 2015 season, the Premier Division clubs are therefore asked individually to obtain the Live Scoring License themselves (as they have the required Registration - ID for their individual TCS software package).

To obtain the licence, the club should :-

a) open their copy of the Total Cricket Scorer

b) Click onto the Tools Menu

c) Click onto the View scores option

d) When the Total Cricket Scorer page opens in the browser, they should select Purchase

e) Scroll down (half down the page) to

"Total Cricket Scorer (Live Scores) £11.99 Buy Now "

f) follow the procedures

g) You will subsequently receive an email from TCS which will start with the following

"Hi, Thank you for purchasing 'Total Cricket Scorer (Live Scores)'.
To activate your live scores licence and view any existing keys, login by clicking here"

and giving you an unique password and detailed instructions to allow you to activate the license

h) the instructions are fairly straight forward but may seem confusing when viewed for the first time. Please contact me if you encounter any problems

i) Please then forward your details to the Hon Treasurer, Alan Bristow (alanjbristow@googlemail.com ) who will arrange to refund the cost of the purchase (subject to the Live Scoring facility being used on a regular basis).

j) If your club does not have wireless access or you cannot locate or were not supplied with the "dongle" provided previously, you should obtain a dongle (O2 dongle are the preferred make and are obtainable from most O2 shops).

k) This offer in respect of Live Scoring via TCS is also open to all clubs in the 1^st and 2^nd division too again on the basis that the cost of the licence will only be refunded if the club uses this software regularly but it is not mandatory that clubs in division 1 and 2 use this software.

Please note that each laptop/tablet that uses TCS requires a separate Live Scoring License.
