FAIR PLAY MARKS FOR 2015. WINNERS ANNOUNCED.

Well done to Lytham, Prestatyn and Old Xaverians
We publish below the 2015 Umpires marks relating to each 1st X1 team's respect for opponents, respect for officials and the overall control of the team captain. Each pair of umpires allocates a mark between 1 and 5 in each category after each game and the average across the season is shown below.
Taken together it is possible therefore to announce a Fair Play team for each division as follows:
Premier Division: LYTHAM
Division 1 : PRESTATYN
Division 2 : OLD XAVERIANS
( From 2016 the winners of each Divisional award will be announced and rewarded at the Annual Dinner)
In addition special mention is made of ORMSKIRK, whose captain, Matt Glayzer, achieved a maximum possible mark of 5.0 for his team control; COLWYN BAY whose skipper, Sion Morris, scored 4.96 for his team control and BURSCOUGH who achieved a maximum 5.0 for their team's respect for officials.

As was said at the End of Season Meeting the numbers and particularly the level of seriousness of discipline cases had been a marked improvement on the previous season and this is reflected in the above overall scores, which are good to see. Clubs are to be congratulated. Long may it continue.
