IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CLUBS

New email address; Subs;LCB Handbook; Junior Teams; Clubmark.

Please see the following important notices:

1.    Please note the new email address for Eric Hadfield hadfield369@btinternet.com

It is important that this information is passed on to all those dealing with fixtures, results and any disciplinary reports in clubs. (From 1 May, sending information to Eric’s previous email address will not be accepted as an excuse for failure to meet timescale or any other requirements.)

2.    Clubs are reminded that in accordance with Regulation 3.9 the payment of annual subscriptions is now due. Non-payment by 1st June will incur a fine of £50.

3.    We have now received copies of the Lancashire Cricket Board (LCB) Handbook for 2016. Regrettably these arrived after our distribution of our own handbooks. Clubs wishing to obtain copies of the books can collect them from one of the six individuals listed below:

Eddie Shiff  07954708831 Eric Hadfield 07940264119  Rob Durand  07803722171 John Williams 07767441978 John Rotheram 07958749817 Neil Girvin 07548772759

4.    The 12 Premier Division Clubs are reminded that it is a requirement of ECB Premier League Status that they have U11, U13 and U15 Junior sides playing hard ball cricket in 2016. If any of our clubs, for any reason, are not on target to achieve this they must let us know and we can work with them to produce an appropriate action plan.

5.    The following is a direct copy from the ECB’S recent Guidance to us on Clubmark:

ECB CLUBMARK ACCREDITATION

Clubmark is an important and visible confirmation that clubs with a Junior Section provide a safe and child-friendly environment. Whilst Clubmark accreditations and re-accreditations have been put on hold for 2016, Clubs are asked to maintain the current Clubmark standards, particularly around Safeguarding. This includes requiring all Clubmark Clubs to complete an online ‘Annual Health Check’ by 20th September 2016, along with a copy of their Club Development Plan.

Any club that has not obtained or retained Clubmark through self-assessment will be ineligible to play in a Premier Division in the 2017 season.

We will return to Clubmark issues later in the season to ensure that clubs are ready and geared up for the self-assessment process.
