CLUBS IN DANGER OF A SUMMONS TO ATTEND A MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING

Failure to submit on time three Captain's reports on the umpires' performance will trigger a summons.

Clubs are reminded that the 2016 AGM voted to approve a rule change relating to a captain's failure to make these weekly reports. Three missed reports will result in the club being summoned to attend a Management Committee meeting.

Four club 1st XI captains have already missed two weeks and are therefore being given a warning that the next failure will result in such a call. Two of these club captains, from Ainsdale and Rainford, failed to submit a report by Wednesday 6th July for the matches played on Saturday 2nd July. The two other clubs involved, Burscough and Parkfield Liscard, were reported twice during May and have not offended since.

To date thirteen reports are either missing or were received late producing a total fine of £195.
