CAPTAINS' REPORTS ON UMPIRES - PREVIOUS WARNING IGNORED

Despite the previous warning that reminders will no longer be given last weekend's returns were the worst on record.

It is almost as if there is a conspiracy against the MCUA's umpires! Twelve captains failed to return their reports by this evening.

The following twelve clubs' 1st XI captains will incur the £15 fine:

Fleetwood Hesketh, Hightown St M, Liverpool, Maghull, Northop Hall, Old Xaverians, Ormskirk, Parkfield Liscard, Rainhill, St Helens T, Wavertree and Wigan.

In the bulletin on July 8th several clubs were warned that they were in danger of a summons to attend a Management Committee meeting for failing to return these reports three times. Unfortunately Parkfield Liscard CC has now triggered this summons and three of the other clubs listed above are now on two failed reports, namely Liverpool, Ormskirk and Wavertree.

It is important for club captains to appreciate that the reports are still needed even if they miss the deadline.
