2017 FIXTURES - SUNDAY 3RD XI FIXTURES AMENDED

Associate member club Norley Hall CC has advised its decision to withdraw its 3rd XI from the Sunday Division 1 North East.

Sunday 3rd XI clubs will recall that Norley Hall CC had to withdraw its 3rd XI late in the 2016 season after conceding four matches but have only today advised that they will be unable to field a regular team in 2017.

Unfortunately the fixtures were only released earlier this week and have had to be revised. Maghull CC had already withdrawn its 5th XI from Sunday 3rd XI Div 1 NE and a division of eight teams was in prospect. However, the Management Committee feels that two divisions of nine teams is more equitable and therefore Formby CC's 4th XI will be transferred to Div 1 NE, being the most north-easterly team in Div 1 SW. We have suggested that these two teams may wish to play some matches as friendlies with no player eligibility problems and hope that this will be acceptable to all.

The revised fixtures are now available on this website in Admin Docs>Fixtures>3rd XI. Teams with no fixtures each week are included in the lists.
