The ECB are now welcoming expressions of interest from clubs for the NatWest U19 T20 Competition for 2017. Clubs can do this via www.ecb.co.uk/U19T20 with any questions being directed to either Paul Bryson (pbryson@lccc.co.uk) or James Cutt (jcutt@lccc.co.uk).

L&DCC premier division clubs must enter this, entry for divisions 1 and 2 is optional for clubs but is strongly encouraged!

L&DCC Wirral clubs may enter the Cheshire version of this and the clubs in Wales the Welsh version, if they prefer.

Clubs who express an interest will have the opportunity to enter the competition in the early part of 2017 after further consultation with the Lancashire Cricket Board (LCB) and the ECB.

The competition in Lancashire will again be delivered by the LCB with clubs being placed into groups locally across the County, winning teams will then compete in the knock out stages with four semi-finalists competing in Finals Day.  The #U19T20 encourages clubs to create the ‘blast experience’ through player ownership as a tool to keep players of this age group engaged with the game.

2016 saw 37 clubs enter the competition with Blackpool CC beating Littleborough CC in the final after overcoming Read CC and Ormskirk CC respectively at Finals Day which was hosted at Southport & Birkdale CC.
