Sponsorship moves into in second year

As the start of the 2014 season approaches the Liverpool and District Cricket Competition enters the second of a three year sponsorship deal with Med Imaging Ltd.

Med Imaging, with its headquarters in Knowsley, is a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist and supplies, services and maintains medical imaging equipment throughout Great Britain. Managing Director Tim Dickinson is pleased to continue sponsoring the largest league in Lancashire and the County’s only ECB accredited Premier League. “The Comp not only provides top quality cricket in top quality venues but in recent years has extended to include all levels of cricket for those who want to play” he said. “In particular it is giving wider opportunities to junior players with its representative teams as well as helping clubs develop their junior players. That’s why we have increased the amount of sponsorship this year and are happy to do so”.

League Chairman John Williams is delighted with the continued sponsorship. “We very much thank Tim and his company for their sustained support,” he said, “most of which will go towards our extended representative cricket programme at U12, U14, U18, U21 and Senior level”.
