L&DCC CLUBS IMPROVEMENT GRANT SCHEME 2017

The second tranche of £1500 is released by LDCC for 2017 as promised at AGM 2017
CLUB IMPROVEMENT GRANT SCHEME PART 2!
Recognising that Clubs are constantly seeking to improve their facilities and the significant costs associated with doing this, the Management Committee decided in 2016 to release some of the L&DCC’s funds to help clubs in making improvements.
The sum of £5,000 over two years was made available for Member and Associate Member Clubs as follows:
Seven x £500 awards were made in 2016
Three further x £500 awards will now be made in 2017
The bids for funding can relate to any form of improvement or facility.
Applications for the 2017 scheme should be made on the attached form:

All applications will be submitted to the February Meeting of the Cricket Committee which will decide the three remaining grant recipients and the awards will be available from the end of February 2017.
Note
The Grants cannot be used to fund retrospective Schemes and the clubs that were successful with grant applications in 2016 will not be considered for a second award in 2017.
There is no matched funding requirement
The Cricket Committee’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

For the 2017 tranche of money, the application form must be submitted to alanjbristow@gmail.com no later than January 31st and will be submitted to the Cricket Committee in February for approval. Once approved it is intended that the grant will be transferred to the club before the end of February 2017 in good time for the new season.
