JOHN BROWN - Funeral Arrangements

It is with great sadness that we report that Orrell Red Triangle’s John Brown has passed away, at home, after a short illness in hospital.

John (81) was a one club man, playing very briefly for Orrell, before becoming Club Secretary for over 40 years, for whom he worked tirelessly. Known by many as “Mr Brown” he was widely respected by players and officials in the Southport and District League, Liverpool Competition and local cricket circles.

Above all he was a real gentleman much liked by all who visited Orrell.

Condolences to John’s wife Theresa, his five children, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild and everyone at Orrell Red Triangle.

Funeral Arrangements Friday 19 February 10am at St James Church, St James Rd, Orrell, WN5 7AA; followed by burial at St Theresa's Church, College Rd, Upholland WN8 0PY; with all then welcome back at Orrell Red Triangle Cricket Club.
