MCUA UMPIRE OF THE YEAR AWARDS 2018

The 2018 Awards are made

MCUA were pleased to announce the 'Umpires of the Year' awards for the 2018 season at their end of season meeting. The umpires are selected using the umpires marks, as submitted by Captains, in each Division. Umpires must have stood at least 8 times in the particular division in order to qualify for the award. The following awards were made: -

The Dave Jones Umpire of the Year Award - Premier Division: Ian Laurence
The Peter Freeman Umpire of the Year Award - First Division: Howard Taylor
The Ian Shepherd Umpire of the Year Award - Second Division: Barry Evans

Competition was very strong in each Division and the winning umpires are congratulated on winning the award.

MCUA also would like to thank Clubs and Captains who submit the weekly marks without which it would be impossible to make the awards.
