RAINFORD'S PICNIC IN THE PARK. ( 1 June)

Cricket Club FREE competition to win Two Tickets open to all.

This is the third year of Rainford’s Music Festival – Picnic in the Park – a collaboration between Rainford Rangers Juniors Football Club, Rainford Cricket Club, Rainford Tennis Club and Rainford Boys Brigade and Girls Association to raise much needed funds for each of these local organisations.

This year, the event on Saturday 1 June, is headlined by T’Pau, led by singer Carol Decker, who had a string of top 40 hits in the late 1980’s, most notably “China in your Hand” and “Heart and Soul”. Other bands appearing throughout the day which starts at 12 noon are Ultra 90’s Fresh, Mixtape, The Shakers, Scratch and Chasing Crows.

Bring your own Food and Refreshment (no bottles or glass) or you can take advantage of the plentiful food stalls on site.
