LAPTOP SCORING EXTENDS TO 1st & 2nd DIVISIONS

Following the successful introduction of the above in the Premier League in 2011, it is now intended to proceed with the provision of the necessary hardware and software within Divs 1 & 2 wherever feasible, following confirmation that an interested Club has the necessary electricity supply to the scorebox. In order to obtain contributory funding from ECB it was necessary to make laptop scoring within the Premier League compulsory but this is not the case with the lower divisions.

In the first instance, clubs should express their interest by replying via the 'Contact Us' button on this website, confirming the above and that the club is served by competent scorers to take advantage of this facility............names would be helpful if readily available. It is the intention to hold an educational seminar in the New Year similar to last season but with the added advantage of the presence of scorers who have experienced a full season of operation. It is also hoped that this will be handled "In-house" with assistance from our most experience operators.
