Official Information for Clubs on the election of a 36th full member club:
Further to the notification to clubs and the posting on this website on 1st May 2012 of the Special General Meeting to be held on 22nd May at 7.30pm at Bootle CCfor the purpose of electing a 36th club to the BFS L&DCC in 2013 as required under Sections 3 (3.8) and 8 (8.2) of the Constitution of the BFS L&DCC, the following information is of relevance to the meeting.
As reported on the 10th May, one firm application was received, from Spring View CC (currently in the Bolton and District Cricket Association). Following a Club and Ground assessment and a visit by members of the Management Committee, Spring View CC has passed all the required admission criteria (in all six sections) for admission to Division 2 of the BFS L&DCC in 2013.
Full details will be presented at the meeting.
Consequently the Management Committee recommends acceptance of the application from Spring View CC to its member clubs.

In advance of the SGM, Spring View CC welcomes visits from officials from BFS L&DCC member clubs. Any clubs wishing to take up this offer should contact Chris Weston (07977 201 736).
