UNDER 16 and UNDER 21 COMPETITIONS 2013

Open for entries - new knockout format
Under 16 and Under 21 Competitions 2013
Following feedback from clubs after last year’s U16 and U20 competitions and after discussion at the Cricket Committee it has been agreed that the competitions this year will be played on a straight knockout basis using the same T20 format. In addition the age limit on the U20 competition has been raised to U21. The finals day this year – date and venue to be announced – will comprise the final of each competition.
(U16 – players under the age of 16 at 1st September 2012)
(U21 – players under the age of 21 at 1st September 2012).
Entries are now sought from member and associate member clubs for either or both competitions and should be made via email to the Cup Competitions Coordinator Rob Roberts at ldcc-cups@gmx.com to be received no later than 31 March.
The draw for both competitions will be made at the pre-season meeting on 9th April.
