START OF L&DCC SEASON DELAYED BY ONE WEEK

Exceptional weather forces change

The Management and Cricket Committees, having consulted clubs right across the L&DCC and listened to the views being expressed, have unanimously decided that, in the best interests of L&DCC cricket, the start of the season will be delayed by one week so as to give ground staff more opportunity to prepare playing surfaces.

(i) The start of the season is therefore shifted from Saturday April 13th to Saturday April 20th

(ii) The fixtures from Saturday 13th April move en bloc to Monday 6th May

(iii) In addition the 3rd XI fixtures from Sunday April 14th move en bloc to Sunday September 1st.
