EMBEE TROPHY FINALS DAY ARRANGEMENTS

Newton-le-Willows is the venue for the delayed finals day on Saturday 22nd September.

Newton-le-Willows CC has agreed to host the day. Satuurday has been chosen as it doesn't clash with any other events at the club planned for the next day, however if bad weather again delays the finals the Sunday would be available if necessary as a reserve date.

Because of the time of year regarding sunset times the format will now have to be slightly amended so that each semi-final will be played as16 overs per innings, ie the 16th over must start no later than 1 hour after the start of the innings.

Depending on the light conditions the final can hopefully still be 20 overs. The times below are the latest possible for a 20 over final. Overs per innings shall be reduced by 1 for every seven and a half minutes (or part thereof) lost from these start times.
