ECB LEAGUE EMERGENCY LOAN SCHEME
Date: 7th May 2020
Applications can start going in today.
Dear all,
From today, all open-age and junior cricket leagues will be able to apply to a new funding scheme specifically designed to help leagues and their clubs through the challenging next few months as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The ECB League Emergency Loan Scheme aims to support affiliated open-age and junior cricket Leagues during the COVID-19 crisis by providing funding to assist leagues to cover the cost of cricket balls plus unrecoverable costs above £2,000 in the 2020 season. The benefit being that leagues will be able to refund or choose not to collect funds from member clubs. Leagues should apply by visiting the ECB website here. County Cricket Board / Foundations will help
When a loan application is received through the ECB Investment Management System, County Cricket Boards or Foundations are required to confirm the league is affiliated to your County Cricket Board/Foundation and that the information provided is accurate to the best of the County Board’s knowledge.
If the league is cross-border or affiliated via a national affiliation (such as the National Cricket Conference), ECB will perform the validation process. Once the CCB or ECB has validated the league’s affiliation, the application will be progressed to the ECB Facilities Investment Team.
A Guidance Note for leagues, giving all the details of the scheme has been provided.
In addition, if you, have any questions about the scheme, please contact the ECB Facilities Help Desk here.
We thank you for your continued support and stay safe and well.
