Nomination and Selection process explained
L&DCC Representative Cricket U12 and U14
As previously published and as notified at the pre-season meeting we are taking part in the LCB Inter League competitions at U12 and U14.
The U12 side is to be managed by Chris Rimmer and the U14’s by Andy Barlow.
The size and spread of the L&DCC and the fact that many of the players at this age play their junior cricket in Junior Leagues also entered in the LCB Competition have influenced our selection process. We will be selecting the League Representative sides from a combination of knowledge of players in the county systems (Lancashire, Cheshire and North Wales); information taken from the current series of LCB District games (U15 games for U14 and U13 games for U12) together with consideration of any nominations received directly from clubs. Please note clubs are invited to nominate boys and girls, who should be of District Level standard, by emailing johnawilliams1@btinternet.com
The first U12 match is against Bolton Association on Sunday 9th June and any nominations should be received by no later than Sunday 2 June.
The first U14 match is against Ribblesdale League on Sunday 30th June and any nominations should be received by no later than Sunday 16 June.
