MCUA TO LOSE A GRADE 1 UMPIRE

It is with regret that Brian Aldred has been forced to withdraw his umpiring services for 2010 owing to failing eye sight.
Many are aware of Brian's other health problems over recent seasons and it has been a credit to him to have officiated in so many matches, particularly standing both Saturday and Sunday on many weekends.
We wish him all the best for the future and trust that he will continue to attend matches throughout the Competition when we may have the pleasure of his company.
