PARKFIELD LISCARD DEVELOPMENT IS UNDERWAY.

Date: 26th February 2010

MAKING THEIR MARK AS THE THIRD CLUB IN NORTH WIRRAL

Parkfield Liscard’s original plan to re-develop their existing facilities has been replaced with a more adventurous plan. This will extend the pavilion by 96 (m2) and allow the accommodation of a purpose built ECB standard changing facility and viewing area.

The extension will incorporate two 21 (m2) changing rooms, each inclusive of toilet and shower facilities, plus a kit/storage room and a viewing area. Also to be provided will be a separate purpose built umpire room incorporating own toilet and shower and the enlargement and refurbishment of the existing clubhouse.

With the help of an ECB Grant, etc.,the work has commenced this week. Already provided for the 2010 season are a new scorebox and tea room. This is by far the largest project ever undertaken by the club and as it also coincides with their first year as a full member of The Bridging Finance-NW Liverpool & District Cricket Competition, it is expected that 2010 should be a very busy and exciting time for everyone connected with Parkfield Liscard C.C.

Whilst this new project will take slightly longer than the previously proposed plan, all at Parkfield believe the facilities will be well worth waiting for and the club look forward to welcoming all teams and officials during the coming season.
