1. Register now for 2018 NatWest CricketForce
2018’s NatWest CricketForce will take place across the weekend beginning Friday 23rd March.
This year ECB are encouraging clubs to take part in activities that will help create family friendly environments such as upgrading access for people with disabilities and improving changing and toilet facilities for women and girls.
The registration portal is now open, sign up and activate your £150 privilege account from Jewson – click here.

2. NatWest OSCAs 2017
The unsung heroes of grassroots cricket were recognised for their efforts at the 15th NatWest OSCAs at Lord’s on 8 October. Volunteers travelled from far and wide to Lord’s for a day recognising the hard work and dedication of all of those who help make sure that club cricket continues to thrive.
England stars Stuart Broad, Beth Langston and Eoin Morgan joined host Alison Mitchell in paying tribute and awarding the OSCAs at a packed nursery pavilion.

3. New Umpire Courses
Over the summer ECB ACO redeveloped their education portfolio, taking MCC's new resources into consideration.
ECBACOs suite of courses will help develop an umpires interpretation of the Laws to assist their field craft. With over 300 tutors trained this winter ECB ACO are ready for candidates to subscribe. Please circulate and encourage participation within your club membership.

4. ECB DBS applications are now online
The ECB remains firmly and enthusiastically committed to safeguarding in cricket and to providing a safe and welcoming experience for all. We will continue to ensure we recruit the right people to support and work with the children who are the future of our game.
We are delighted to announce that the ECB DBS service is going online with the help of our Service Provider Atlantic Data.

6. Royal London Club Championship 2018 Entry Information
The Royal London Club Championship was won in 2017 by Wanstead & Snaresbrook from Essex, beating Ormskirk from Lancashire by 12 runs in an exciting final. The competition is open to all clubs across England and Wales, so please pass the entry information for the 2018 competition to clubs within your County.

7. ECB Recreational Finals Hosting Opportunities
ECB run several recreational cricket finals and are reliant on clubs and schools around England & Wales to act as hosts. For the 2018 season we are once again looking for hosts for a variety of club and county, male and female regional and national finals. Below is a link to the document which details the hosting opportunities and a request for clubs and schools to complete a bidding document expressing their interest in hosting one or more of these matches next season.
