CRICKET COMMITTEE MEETING

An additional meeting of the Liverpool Competition's Cricket Committee is to be held next Wednesday following a complaint by Northern C C that illegal rolling of the wicket during the tea interval of last Saturday's first team match against Bootle adversely affected the surface on which Northern batted in the second innings.
The Cricket Committee has a variety of sanctions available to it, should it be judged that the rolling contributed to Northern's defeat.
