Date: 5th May 2017

LCCC FOUNDATION ‘COMMUNITY CLUB CRICKET BAT DONATION SCHEME’

Our charity partner The LCCC Foundation are looking to donate a total of 300 junior cricket bats to local community cricket clubs across Lancashire in partnership with the Lancashire Cricket Board to

This is the third year the Foundation has run the scheme, donating a total of 447 bats to 50 local clubs to date.

The brand new cricket bats (Adidas Pellara) are being made available on a first come first served basis (priority will be given to clubs that did not benefit from the scheme last year) and a cricket club can apply for batches of up to 15 bats,* which will include 1x size 2, 4x size 3’s, and 10x size 4’s. The bats can be used to upgrade your stock of Junior training equipment and / or be passed onto individuals who would otherwise struggle to purchase their own.

*Please note if you require less bats this can be arranged, however, the sizes are based on availability.

As a charity, the LCCC Foundation rely entirely on fundraising to support our community work so in return they are asking for a donation of £10 per bat which will go directly towards the development and delivery of our community projects, programmes and events. They will also look to invite you to Emirates Old Trafford to collect the donated bats and have a photo which will be used in press releases to raise the profile of the Foundation, LCCC, LCB and each of the clubs involved.
