Wavertree 2s won the toss and chose to field.
LEIGH scored 234 for 7 from their 40 overs (J Hayes scored 73, H Church 47, M Bentham 44, and K Robinson 21)
WAVERTREE replied with 132-8 before the rain came after 34 overs (A Cameron-Summers scored 32, J Hogan 24 and K Bentham 3-23)
The match was abandoned and Leigh won having scored at a faster run-rate.
Well done to both sides for battling on!
