43 youngsters benefiting from quality coaching
The 11th year of the Liverpool Gin Liverpool Competition Player Development programme is now up and running and 43 youngsters from clubs all over the Competition have just completed week three of the 10 week programme.
The “no cost” programme, funded primarily from fines incurred by clubs in the preceding season, is aimed at players not necessarily in county or elite squads but those specifically selected by their clubs for development. There are two cohorts, ages 13 to 14/15 (pictured) and 15 to 18.
This year the programme is once again led by Steve Critchley together with experienced coaches Mark Aspin, Chris Chambers and Sam Holt.
