U15 League - changes to some fixtures plus additional guidance

LIVERPOOL COMPETITION SOUTHPORT DISTRICT JUNIOR LEAGUE

IMPORTANT UPDATES

 

Under 15 Leagues

At the request of Ainsdale U15s they have been moved from Group A to Group B and swap with Rainford U15s who have been moved to Group A. NOTE The clubs will remain as drawn for the Cup Competition

Please therefore alter your fixture lists to reflect this and the fixtures as listed on Play-cricket will be appropriately amended.

Please also note that in Group B Skelmersdale have withdrawn.

The first set of fixturesfor Group A (indicated as provisional in the handbook) are on Wednesday 24 April. NOTE there has been some confusion over this and the clubs concerned can rearrange for another date if they wish.

The first set of fixtures for Group B are 1 May

Under 11 League

First set of Fixtures  Week commencing 29 April.

NOTE – The home team is required to notify the away team of the time and date (night or Sunday morning) of the fixture. Some clubs are designating a set day for these games to be played and it would be helpful if you could email to  http://rob.durand@btinternet.com asap and we will send out details to all the clubs.

Under 13 League

First Set of Fixtures   Thursday 2 May 

Under 18 League

First Set of Fixtures   Monday 6 May

Reminder that Orrell are playing their home games at Norley Hall.

ALL OF THE FIXTURES ARE ON PAGES 109 TO 119 OF THE LEAGUE HANDBOOK ( obtainable from your club secretary. If you are having difficulty getting one let me know)

Cup Fixtures

These are NOT on play-cricket as the dates need to be arranged between clubs. The draw and details can be found at the beginning of each age group fixture section in the League Handbook.

Match Rules and Regulations

All Rules and Regulations for the Junior League can be found from pages 102 to 106 together with the reprinted guidance from the ECB relating to safety and juniors playing in open age cricket on pages 97 to 101

 

Finally just a quick reminder about the newly adopted pitch lengths : U11 17 yds, U13 19 yds with U15 and U18 remaining unchanged.
