Start of Last Hour

The L&DCC plays time cricket in all league matches.

• 1^st XI matches starting at 12.00 noon usually gives a 5.45pm start for the last hour.

• 2^nd XI and Saturday 3^rd XI matches starting at 12.45 pm usually gives a 5.30pm start for the last hour.

• 3^rd XI Sunday matches starting at 2:00 pm, usually gives a 6:45 pm start for the last hour.

• In all matches add a further 10 minutes to these last hour start times if the innings break is not taken during the Tea Interval.

1^st XIs (notionally 110 overs):

Add 6 hours 15 minutes to the start time, then add a further 30 minutes for the “Tea Interval” and finally add 10 minutes to these last hour start times if the innings break is not taken during the Tea Interval, this gives the notional final finish time. The last hour starts one hour before this notional final finish time.

2^nd and 3^rd XIs (notionally 90 overs):

Add 5 hours 15 minutes to the start time, then add a further 30 minutes for the “Tea Interval” and finally add 10 minutes to these last hour start times if the innings break is not taken during the Tea Interval, this gives the notional final finish time. The last hour starts one hour before this notional final finish time.)
