DISCIPLINARY NOTICE - AGREED ACTION
Date: 24th June 2021
A disciplinary report has been received and dealt with by the respective club following discussions with the L&DCC Disciplinary Committee.
On 12th June in the 2nd XI match between Liverpool CC and Bootle CC, the Bootle player Jamie Siddall was reported for foul and abusive language to the umpire.
In addition, Tom Meskell was also reported for inappropriate behaviour to the umpire.
Bootle CC has banned Jamie Siddall for 3 weeks commencing midnight, 18th June 2021, plus 3 weeks suspended until 17th June 2022.
Bootle CC has also banned Tom Meskell for 1 week commencing midnight, 25th June 2021, plus 1 week suspended until 24th June 2022.
The ban applies to all forms of cricket under the auspices of the England and Wales Cricket Board.
The club is to be commended for the way it dealt with the incident.
