L&DCC DISCIPLINARY REPORT: AGREED ACTION

A complaint from the umpires has been received and dealt with by the club involved following discussions with the L&DCC Disciplinary Committee.
On Sunday 1st August 2021 in the Vitality ECB National Club T20 2021 Area 6 Final between Northern CC and Westhoughton CC played at Garstang CC, the Northern player Andrew Clarke was reported for foul language.
After having taken into account extenuating club circumstances, Northern Cricket Club has banned Andrew Clarke for one game commencing midnight 6th August, plus one week suspended until 5th August 2022 .
In addition, Northern CC will forward letters of apology to both umpires and the Garstang and Westhoughton Cricket Clubs.
The ban applies to all forms of cricket under the auspices of the England and Wales Cricket Board.
Northern CC is to be commended for the way they dealt with this incident.
