1st XI & 2nd XI Registration Cut off date 2022
Clubs are reminded that new registrations of 1st and 2nd XI players for the 2022 season must be completed by the 31st July 2022 (Player Registration regulations 6.1.1 and 6.1.2)
New registrations must therefore be submitted through Play Cricket to the Registration Secretary by 12.00 noon on Wednesday 27th July 2022.
The player must also actually play for their club in an all age fixture by Sunday 31st July 2022 (Player Registration regulation 6.2) to complete the registration process.
This requirement to have actually played a game for their new club also applies to registrations made earlier in the season and that are as yet incomplete in this way.
These requirements do not apply to 3rd XI new registrations (Regulation 6.5.1) but 3rd XI players registered after the 31st July 2022 are ineligible to play for the 1st or 2nd XIs for the rest of season 2022
