UPDATE

It’s been a very busy winter for the Junior Cricket League Committee, led by Secretary Neil Crew and Committee members Peter Roots, Andrew Mills and Chris Nutton. Three Zoom sessions with Junior Club Representatives, followed by plenty of emails and calls has produced a growing and exciting League programme featuring:

U9          27 teams in 5 geographical groupings

U11        25 teams in 2 Divisions North and South

U13        25 teams in 2 (N and S) Competitive and 3 Development Divisions

U15        21 teams in 2 (N and S) Competitive and 2 Development Divisions

U18        16 teams in 2 Divisions North and South

INTER LEAGUE NEWS

123 players attended trials for the U11 U13 and U15 age groups at St Bede’s over two weekends in March. Massive thanks to Volunteer Coaches Tim McKiernan, Simon Sutcliffe, Chris Nutton and Martin Sidaway for their time and input.

Full details of the selected squads and the fixture programmes for the Competition, organised and managed by Lancashire Cricket as an integral part of the County Pathway, are detailed below.

The Wigan Junior League take part in the Competition as their own Junior League.
