Comp clubs on the road
The 2014 Lancashire Knockout Cup draw has thrown up some testing first round fixtures for Med Imaging Liverpool and District Cricket Competition clubs.
Only Lytham are favoured with a home tie, against highly fancied Heywood from the Central Lancashire League. Maghull appear to have come off best with a first round bye but will face a tough trip to either Burnley or Adlington in the second round.
The four remaining Comp clubs are on the road with Champions Northern travelling towards the Fylde coast to Freckleton from the Palace Shield. Bootle are away at Lancashire League side Ramsbottom and Leigh have a short trip to Bolton League outfit Egerton. Ormskirk have been drawn away to Barnoldswick from the Ribblesdale League.
All ties are to be played by Monday 26 May.
