INVITATION FOR ONE CLUB TO JOIN THE LIVERPOOL AND DISTRICT CRICKET COMPETITION.
Following the voluntary move of Burscough CC to the Southport and District Amateur Cricket League for season 2020, we now have a vacancy for one cricket club to join our League, in Division 2, for season 2021.
For clarification this does not replace the existing feeder agreement between the Liverpool Competition and the Southport and District League which continues to operate as agreed.
In brief, applicant clubs must:
· Currently hold the Clubmark accreditation OR be able to produce evidence from their appropriate Cricket Foundation or Board that significant progress is being made towards obtaining it.
· Enter teams into the League at 1st and 2nd X1 level and preferably also at 3rd X1.
· Be in a position to give notice of leaving their current league by 30 June 2020
· Meet the Club and Ground requirements of the Liverpool Competition as applied to Division 1 and 2 Clubs.
