L&DCC GIRLS U10 SUMMER PROGRAMME ANNOUNCED

5 Festivals to follow on from last year's success

Last season the League held a very successful series of girl-only U10 festivals, followed up by a series of indoor meets over the winter.

This season we have the following events scheduled (10am to 2pm)

Sunday 15^th May at Fleetwood Hesketh

Sunday 12^th June – venue tbc

Sunday 3^rd July – Liverpool

Sunday 24^th July – Northern

Sunday 21^st August – venue tbc

We are also planning U12 ‘try hardball’ sessions on Sundays 26 June and 7^th July.

We have an existing core of seven clubs who have participated each week, and we invite additional clubs who have girls in the U10 age group to join us this season. Teams are eight a side but clubs are welcome to enter if they have just a handful of girls as teams can be combined with other clubs.

The spirit of these events is to encourage participation but we have some more experienced teams so we hope to cater for all levels of experience.
