Peter Fleetwood to retire from Management Committee after five years of excellent service

NOTICE

We are sorry to announce that Peter Fleetwood, our elected League Honorary Treasurer is to retire from the position at the 2024 AGM after 5 years of outstanding service. During his tenure Peter has led the way in the League’s “Inspiring Generations” programme. His sound management leaves the League with a stable financial position.

We now seek a replacement. A complicating factor is the imbalance between the AGM date (9 January 2024) and the prescribed End of Financial Year date of the Liverpool Competition 31 October 2023. Our new financial year begins on 1 November 2023. We are therefore, hopefully looking to have someone to take over from Peter to undertake duties from the start of the new financial year, with Peter handing over to and assisting the new incumbent in the early stages.

We are therefore seeking expressions of interest from appropriately experienced individuals in Member and Associate Member Clubs interested in the position, which attracts a small honorarium, travel expenses, not a lot else, but is a pivotal role in maintaining the existing high standards of cricket in the Liverpool Competition.
