START OF THE SEASON
You will know from previous correspondence that, due to the current weather situation, it has been our intention to discuss the start date of the 2024 season at the pre-season meeting on 9 April.
It seems that the continuing bad weather has overtaken us and this letter informs you that the Season will not start on Saturday 20 April.
This decision is based on the consistent messages we have been receiving from clubs and from our own conversations with a number of clubs in each division, and is taken now to help clubs plan appropriately.
We will outline the alternative arrangements at the meeting on the 9th, when we will also take time to consider an appropriate start date.
