LANCASHIRE INTER LEAGUE Competition 2023

Information and Nomination forms for the Liverpool Competition trials for this year’s inter League Competition have been sent to all Liverpool Competition Member and Associate Member Clubs Secretaries (excepting those clubs in the Wigan Junior League).

Please note Only nominations submitted on the form and authorised by a club official will be accepted.

The Competition, which is the primary source of access to the Lancashire Youth Pathway, has been extended this year by two competing age groups at U12 and U14.

We are entering at all age groups: U11 U12 U13 U14 U15 and U18. (No trials at u18. Teams to be selected on League performance).

The trials are to be held over two Saturdays at St Bede’s Ormskirk, on 25 March and 1 April. This is a significant undertaking for any League, in both cost and time, but as with all the major Leagues in Lancashire, we all believe it is one well worth undertaking for the development of our youngsters.

To do so we are looking for additional Managers and Coaches to look after each of the age groups. The commitment varies according to age group but is essentially 4 or 5 match days (Dates yet to be confirmed) but likely to include three on August weekdays, preceded by two evening training sessions. Managers receive full travel expenses and Coaches receive a match day allowance.
