L&DCC DISCIPLINARY HEARING: AGREED ACTION

Date: 6th October 2021

At the request of Newton le Willows CC a Disciplinary Panel Hearing was convened by the L&DCC Disciplinary Committee on Monday October 4th 2021.

On Saturday 11th September, in a 1st X1 match between Newton le Willows CC and Rainford CC, the Newton le Willows player Marc Debrabander was reported for Verbal Dissent to an umpire and Abuse of Equipment.

The panel found the charges of Dissent and Abuse of Equipment proven at ECB Level 1 and has banned Marc Debrabander for 2 weeks commencing on the official start date of L&DCC fixtures in 2022.

In addition, a 1 week's suspended ban was also imposed on Marc Debrabander until 4th October 2022 and an order for £50 costs was made against Newton le Willows CC.

The ban applies to all forms of cricket under the auspices of the England and Wales Cricket Board.
