…… IRBY CC IS NOMINATED AS THE 36TH L&DCC FULL MEMBER CLUB in 2023 at the SGM meeting on Tuesday 24th May at the L&DCC SGM AT 7.00 PM NOW BY ZOOM

THIS MEETING MUST NOW BE HELD BY ZOOM BECAUSE OF A DIARY CLASH AT BOOTLE CC.

CODES WILL FOLLOW LATER TODAY

At this meeting Irby CC will be strongly recommended by the L&DCC M/C to all L&DCC Full Member clubs as the L&DCC’s 36^th Full Member Club in 2023.

This meeting is now NOT to be held at Firwood-Bootle CC on Tuesday 24^th May 2022 at 7.00 pm

As previously promised, detailed information from candidate clubs for admission to the L&DCC in 2023 was collected and assessed by M/C, due diligence was carried out in the same way in respect of all applicant clubs. The closing dates for applicant clubs in 2023 was close of business on Saturday 30^th April 2022.

This meeting will enable the L&DCC to restore the total number of Full Member Clubs within the competition to 36 in 2023.

M/C agreed unanimously on the recommendation of Irby CC.

The proposal to the clubs at the SGM will therefore read “Irby Cricket Club shall be admitted to Division 2 of the L&DCC as a full member club from January 1^st 2023.”

To this purpose and under the terms of the L&DCC Constitution Items 3.8, 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3, a Special General Meeting of the Full Member Clubs of the L&DCC was necessary.

Due notice of this meeting was given on the 1^st May 2022 of the L&DCC Special General Meeting for Full Member Clubs called to vote in respect of the accession of a 36^th Full Member Club in 2023.

All Full Member Clubs are reminded that their attendance at such meetings is mandatory, "whole club" apologies may not be given by such clubs.

Non-voting attendance status at this meeting is optional for all Associate Member Clubs but they are very welcome to attend. Non-attendance of a Full Member Club will result in a fine being levied on that club
