 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Tuesday 20 January 2026 7pm at Bootle Cricket Club

Agenda to be sent out shortly. Attendance is Compulsory.

Sadly, in recent years there has been a steady increase in the number of clubs not attending  AGMs and SGMs. These meetings are a required criteria of our ECB Premier League status and enable clubs to vote and make decisions on important matters affecting the League.

We reprint below the existing regulation 12.1.1 in our Constitution:

12.1.1 Any club failing to attend the AGM or a Special General Meeting in any calendar year will be fined £20.00 on every occasion.

In addition, and on every occasion, one league point will be deducted from every team in club (i) during the current season for the Annual General Meeting and the Pre-Season Meeting and (ii) from every team in a club for the season immediately following; for the End of Season Special General Meeting and, for those clubs having 3rd XIs only, the 3rd XI End of Season Special General Meeting.

Successive Management Committees have held off from applying the second part of this regulation over the past years, but we are now giving notice that this will be applied in 2026.
