DISCIPLINARY ACTION TAKEN (25)

Liverpool 2nds v Wallasey 2nds Chrysalis Cup Semi-Final 10 August 2025

Following the two umpires reports relating to two incidents of participant misconduct at the above game the matter has been considered by the League’s Adjudicator. It has been established that the two individuals concerned were members of Liverpool Cricket Club. Their actions in shouting comments onto the playing area of the game are unacceptable.

Section 12 (a) of the ECB General Conduct Regulations states that A Club will be in breach of these Regulations if, at any time: it fails to take reasonable steps to ensure the good behaviour and conduct of their Participants for any breach of these Regulations;

Appendix 3 – Paragraph 4 (a) of the ECB General Conduct Regulations applies.

Liverpool Cricket Club is issued with a reprimand, in that on this occasion it failed to take such reasonable steps.

This is a first Club breach, and the warning will remain on the Club’s record for 24 months
