TRANSITION DIVISIONS - CONCEDING GAMES - PENALTIES
Date: 4th June 2026
CONCEDING FIXTURES for SEASON 2026 TRANSITION DIVISIONS
CLARIFICATION
NOTE: Clubs who concede fixtures must notify both their opponents and the League Secretary.
The L&DCC and the former S&DACL have significantly different Regulations for the penalties applying to Conceded Fixtures.
L&DCC in addition to awarding the match points to the opposition issue a £25 fine to be paid to the League with a 10 point reduction.
S&ADCL award the match points to the opposition and award costs against the conceding club to be paid to the opposition at a variable rate of £25 £50 and £75, according to the time the concession is made. In addition the penalty points applied to the conceding club would be either 25 (T2) or 50 ( T1).
After considering this issue the L&DCC Transition Committee believe the discrepancy is too large. In keeping with the principle of continuing with last season’s playing rules,
S&DACL 2025 paragraph E13 is to apply but with some amendments:
E 13 (a) (i) A club conceding League or Cup Matches for any reason is liable to pay a sum as the contribution to the lost revenue (excluding travel expenses) of the non-offending club as follows
Concession at any time up to 8pm on Thursday £25
Concession after 8pm on Thursday £50
E13 (a) (II) No longer applies
E13 (a) (iii) No longer applies
E13 (b) Teams in both Transition Divisions will be deducted 10 points
E13 (c) action after 3 concessions and (d) club failing to complete fixtures continue to apply.
Note: all financial transactions will be levelled up by the L&DCC Treasurer through the End of Season statement in October as defined in a previous bulletin
The system adopted by the Liverpool Competition is to issue two financial statements to each club, one at the start of the season and a second at the end of the season ( in October).
The statements indicate the payments to be made by the club to the League e.g. Affiliation Fees, League Fees, Fines, etc during the preceding period offset with any payments due to the club from the League e.g. hosting cup finals, interleague matches, special grants, prize Money etc. The club then settles the statement accordingly.
This notice will be posted on the wwwlpoolcomp.co.uk website under the BULLETINS Section for continued future reference.
