DISCIPLINARY ACTION TAKEN (23 and 24)

Following a Disciplinary Hearing on 16 September, Saji John and Amit Saxxon Sunny (Liverpool Superkings) have been found to be in breach of GCR Obligation Level 2 (d) using language or guesture to another cricketer, umpire, team official , or spectator, that in the circumstances is obscene, or of a seriously insulting nature,

and GCR paragraph 11 (d) any breach of the ECB's Anti Discrimination Regulations - a Level 3 breach.

Both players receive a five week ban commencing at midnight on the Friday before the first match in the 2026 season ending at midnight on the fifth consecutive week.

This is a first breach from both players and will remain on the player's records for 24 months.
