3rd XI Saturday & Sunday Fixtures Released (7/2/23)

3rd XIs fixtures now available for the coming season.

This season's 3rd XI league fixtures for both Saturday and Sunday divisions are now available to view and download under the Admin Docs / Fixtures / 3rd XI section of this website.

The delay has been caused in part in trying to satisfy all the ground share requirements of our clubs, both for those who share with other LDCC club's grounds as well as those who share with grounds with clubs outside of the Comp, namely in the S&DAL, Cheshire League and North Wales League grounds some of which were a little uneven in terms of sequencing.

Due to the additional sides joining the Saturday Division One structure, which now contains 16 teams, the initial set of fixtures covers the period to 29 July where all teams will have played each other once.

The remaining seven week's fixtures, to the end of the season, will be released, probably in early/mid May, when any clubs (who have previously expressed concerns about their ability to field sides mainly in the peak holiday period of August), have advised the Management Committee of their intentions.

Saturday Division One will again be decided by an average points per game as not all sides are likely to play an equal number of fixtures.

Obviously there will be also be some effect of various Cup games for higher level teams which may affect some of the Sunday fixtures as the season unfolds. A number of free weeks have been set aside to cater for this.
