PINK BALLS -UPDATE

We are informed that ALL PINK BALL ORDERS ARE BEING DISPATCHED TODAY BY READERS.

UPDATE It appears that following our intervention yesterday together with Dunkleys, Readers have confirmed that all pink balls are being dispatched today.

PINK BALLS

Clubs will probably be aware of the current difficulty being experienced by Dunkley Sports in obtaining their order of Pink 5 ½ oz cricket balls from Readers. They inform us that despite their best efforts they do not have an accurate timescale as to when they will be delivered.

Please note that there is no requirement to use a specific type/manufacture of Pink Ball in all L&DCC T20 Competitions (1^st X1, 2^ND X1, 3^RD X1and Liverpool Echo) until the semi-final stages. Therefore clubs may wish to obtain Pink Balls from alternative sources.

We are informed that Amazon (other on-line suppliers are available) seem to have a wide choice available.

The only requirement is for the same type of ball to be used in both innings.

Also – clubs having difficulty obtaining junior pink balls may also wish to take a look on Amazon (other on-line suppliers are available).
