Adam Dunsmore's division one side Liverpool belied their underdog status to successfully defend their score of 129 to beat Ormskirk by 9 runs in a highly competitive and combatative 2nd XI Chrysalis Final, well controlled by the umpires.

Liverpool's Basweer Mohammed was the player of the match for his invaluable 36.

Liverpool 129 for 9 beat Ormskirk 120 for 7 by 9 runs

Semi Finals : Liverpool 150 for 6 beat Wallasey 104 for 9 by 46 runs and Ormskirk 140 for 6 beat Formby 116 for 9

A week earlier, host's Wigan has chased down Goodlass's score of 131 in a high scoring Final of the 3rd XI Mike Dunn trophy on a rain affected Finals day resulting in shortened games.

Goodlass 131 for 8 lost to Wigan 132 for 3 in a 16 over a side game.
